Ruiqi Wang, commonly mispronounced as Roo-ee-kee Wan, but actually Ray-Chee Wong, is a composer and performer from Hangzhou, China, currently based between Berlin and Bern.
She works with voice, body, performance art, improvisation, and a palette of synthesized, sampled, and processed sounds. Ruiqi creates work that is intimate and surreal, through which she seeks freedom and authenticity.
